uverse guide displays incorrect program information
channel 904/1904 is the latest in a consistent string of channels displaying incorrect information on programs. i,e. the program title "life" that is showing is from 2017 but the description is from a 1999 version. also, att does not have a real-time feedback loop for these kind of errors. is it possible that att doesn't require quality customer care and product support ?

AT&T acquires programming information from a third party.

It has been a week since KVME has been incorrectly displaying Jewelry Collections programs in Los Angeles area 90710.

As mentioned above att just receives the grid data from their supplier who in turn receives it from the various networks and local tv stations. Att doesn't look at nor verify the data and I suspect neither does the supplier. You can always look up the station in question since most stations display their own broadcasting schedules. They sometimes do make last minute changes which won't reflect in the data. Odds also are pretty good you will see the same mistakes in sites like titantv too.

WFAA in Dallas just started today with incorrect programming and I have emailed them. It shows the incorrect program on the guide but the actual show is being televised, as in GMA. Every time slot through January 27th is incorrect. Also, 100% of my recordings and scheduled recordings have been deleted for this channel which royally ticks me off! How strange that it’s just starting now as others have also had problems with other stations. What a coincidence.

Already discussed HERE. WFAA had wrong information yesterday (last night).
TitanTv (where AT&T gets programming info from) has correct info so where these erroneous descriptions are coming from is still a mystery.

I'm having an issue where the guide doesn't display episode titles, summaries or guests if it's a talk show . In regards to the talk shows I like to see who the guests are before deciding if I want to watch or not and those are usually listed in or below the summaries on screen.

What the Fudge? Always the third party excuse after excuse. Heck, the guide wouldn't let people see the next Manifest season to record. It used to go out to at least a month and the info. is getting more and more bogus. Is your third party using cheap offshore dummys that barely speak english like AT&T's customer service? Instead of trying to reach out and get stuff corrected and fixed AT&T just says it's not our problem.

if att receive the wrong info from their supplier and they don't care that it's passed on to their customers without QC, then they should get their money from their suppliers too and not the misinformed customer.
