U-verse is not available at this time Error message

I am getting a”U-verse not available at this time. Please try again later.”  Restart Receiver.  I have restarted a ad and reset my router several times and reset my DVR several times over the last 2 hours. Will I ever get my U-verse back again?

We have unplugged and all the things and are still getting the U-verse is not available at this time message today January 15th.   Apparently a call to talk to a tech is not possible either.   What is being done to fix this issue?  Quite frustrating!

Numerous sources are indicating an ATT Uverse outage. TV down here in Murfreesbroro, TN. Would be nice to get the text message that I signed up for to notify me of outages. For the heck of it I signed into my account and checked for outages in my ZIP and it responded that I am, "CLEAR" and TV service is, "GOOD". Kinda frustrated.

@Bgrumpy20  Wait until it's back up, then call and ask for a credit for the service being out.  They probably will not issue one without a request.

Definitely…call once service is restored for a credit on your bill.  It will most likely be for < $10.

Don't mess with old people.  The older we get, the less "Life in Prison" is a deterrent.

Here is the odd thing that I found out, if you have a smart tv and download the Uverse TV app ( I am on a firestick) it works fine and it says it's "LIVE TV" so what is up with that.

I'm just (Edited per community guidelines)ed glad I still have my OTA antenna hooked up so I can still watch the two NFL playoff games today on TV. Nice timing AT&T! Lots of people staying inside because of the bitter cold weather front and the holiday today with no cable TV to watch.  I'll be coming back to this forum to see when (or if? ) the outage gets fixed since I now know that we can't depend on AT&T to let us know.

@Majokeiser . I noticed that too with increase on my bill.  Will ATT credit me on the much higher bill for the outage ?  Oh, it says nothing is wrong when I go the outage page...hmmmm

I am in Houston, TX and I do not have service, the message shows U-verse is not available, restart the receiver. I have restarted the receiver several times to no avail.

My TV has been out since 9:00 last night! The only place that mentions an outage is this obscure forums site!!have been on hold over an hour!!  The chat disconnected me!!  Can’t report an outage!!!  We need a refund for this loss of service!!$$

AT&T has now put banners on both the AT&T Forums and their formal outage page (but not for all users; https://www.att.com/outages/?source=ESsWCfCTA0000000L&wtExtndSource=cfm_Announcement_Outage).

However, signing up for alerts will probably not help if you are one of the many for which the page (once signed in) says there are no service problems.

Yep, saw the banners, too. But when I go to the U-verse outage site, it reports no TV outages in my area. Crazy.

And the banners do not reference the phone and internet outages.  Wishful thinking that service will be restored by the end of the month for everyone here....
