www.uverse.com was discontinued on Nov. 1st, 2017. If you wish to view streaming content, you can do so though the UVerse mobile app on your phone or tablet.

folks I hate to break the news to you. But the real reality is that uverse and your concerns as a customer are not at the top of ATT's priority list right now.
They have moved call center technical assistance over seas to outsource call centers. You can't understand the reps well, they don't understand what your saying. Worst I strongly suspect the reps are using fake american names. I read about that on the net. Listen to the accents when you call in with every single one of them and the lack of english semantics.
They also don't consider uverse thier priority. Do some searches. read about it on the net. They no longer consider it cost feasable to keep laying fiber optics. Their interests are direct tv satellite and the time warner merger.
their just holding onto uverse at the lowest cost options possible.
Its a reality. It's a good service. But beyond whats on your screen don't expect too much.

Totally agree, I wanted to set up a recording from my PC and could not. Why allow it on one platform and not all?? Today's world is to add functionality be platform independent!! What happened ATT??????
I can't download the Uverse app on my phone because all my storage is taken up by ATT apps I can't uninstall!!!

ATT fails to comprehend how users use their products. When programming a DVR I want to type the name in a search field. Now I can't. typing on a phone is more hassle and frankly this STINKS. I want the guide back. It was easy to scroll and easy to program the DVR. Not everyone has a tablet or a phone with extra space for apps.
Give us the guide back!

It doesn't say anything about a Windows app.....
Smartphones, tablets, and wearables
The U-verse app can be found in Apple iTunes, Google Play, and Amazon app stores. Or, you can download the app straight to your smartphone by texting the word Mobile to 3421.
Don't mess with old people. The older we get, the less "Life in Prison" is a deterrent.

Basically only Windows tablets and smartphones (fwiw) are left out in the cold. Android, FireOS, and iOS are all covered.
For many though this is not good enough as use of UVERSE.com was both preferred and a necessity.

Many customers want the the Uverse guide service back.
A computer screen is much easier to use than a cell phone display.
A computer keyboard is easier to type on than a cell phone.
If I want to look up a movie, it is much easier to do it on my computer.
Plus, I don't need to get my glasses to use my computer.
What is AT&T thinking?

Who/where can we contact to get results? I have a feeling they never read this forum. No one ever answers. The foriegners I call don't even know what I am talking about. Managers never call back.
Is there some way we can ban together and get action?
Thanks!

You can send a private message to @ATTHelpForums and let them know how you feel. It may make an impact on their future direction, though II am afraid that this horse has left the barn for good.

Xfinity has a service equivalent to what was uverse.com. There's a "go" subset of networks which can be streamed away from home network.
No Linux box here, but be aware most streams still require either Adobe flash or microsoft silverlight.
