WGN America As A Digital Subchannel

This has nothing to do with U-verse other than the fact that U-verse generally does not carry digital subchannels.

I heard a commercial today on KPLR-TV Channel 11 in St. Louis that next weekend WGN America would be a subchannel of KPLR on Channel 11.4. Now I will have WGN America on my televisions which have U-verse and my televisions that are Over The Air. Unfortunately, I do not watch WGN Amercia because of their decision to drop the Cubs and White Sox baseball games.

I was wondering from you fellow forum members if WGN America was a digital subchannel nationwide, and if so, when did it become a digital subchannel? Perhaps having the Cubs and White Sox was a factor that kept it from being a digital subchannel previously.

I haven't watched it since they dropped the baseball games. I still see it on 1180, if that's what you mean.

That is not what I mean. What I am  saying is not only is WGN America on channels 180 and 1180 on U-verse, it will also be a digital subchannel of KPLR-TV in St. Louis on channel 11.4 starting next weekend.

I have done the same thing as you. I have also not watched WGN America since they dropped Chicago Cubs and White Sox baseball.

My point, Mr. shoe, is that not only is WGN America a cable channel, but it is now a digital subchannel in some cities. I just wanted to know if a lot of areas had WGN America as a digital subchannel on their Over The Air television in addition to it's being a cable channel (formerly WGN Superstation).

Does that answer your question?
