When are you going to resolve the problem with TEGNA?

When are you going to resolve the problem with TEGNA?  It's disrupting my service in watching WFSS (channel 8 - ABC) in my area.  Customers should not have to deal with the petty problems between Uverse and TEGNA.  Work it out or lose a long time subscriber.

How can you tell if you're eligible for the credit? Our channel 3 is out in NE Ohio and I can't figure out how to get a credit for it.

I've been waiting to watch the Steelers game and now I have no channel 8?! I pay well over $200/MONTH to ensure that we can watch all the NFL games and you screw us out of the Steelers game?!

Your channel 8 removed their feed to DTV because they will not pay what they want to renew the contract.  Anything more DTV has to pay your channel 8 will be passed onto your bill.

Why can't I get the local NBC station that is showing the Steelers game today...how convenient...the channel is working just fine until the today when they had rescheduled the game.  

I called them up and horrible service!!

They won't do anything other than to say it is out of their hands. 

What I am paying for every month when I can't even get the main stations!!

Exactly! The amount they charge us every month, we shouldn't have to worry about their inability to hold up their end of the bargain. They need to get it taken care of or give us a major credit!

UVERSE has cancelled St Louis KMOV Channel.  I will be changing carriers if it is not reinstated.

Channel CBS was removed from our broadcast. Of course all of my favorite shows start back up tonight and will not be able to watch them. When will it be restored.

The contract expired so Tegna decided to remove the feed to DTV instead of continuing to provide it.

Want to know why in the heck you decided to cut off local channels that broadcast NFL games. Finally get to see the Ravens abd Steelers play after a 2 week delay and now all I see is "Sorry for your frustration but we are working on it. Trying to get a "new deal with whom ever"  Trying to blame the FCC.  I think the CEO is mad because he's not getting his big bonus!  Please bring back local channels or will have to change to Dish!

Your local channels decided to remove their feed to DTV when the contract expired they could have decided to continue to proved it. All TV providers have to go through this.

Here we go again- loss of a channel. It really is unacceptable to expect paying customers to tolerate this horrible service. Whilst I hear your apologies loud and clear it is far from acceptable. Warn your potential customers to stay away!!

This is something you are never going to get away from, unless you use OTA to get your local stations. I have had satellite, cable and streaming, over the years, and have seen it in every one of them. Owners keep raising their prices to the providers and they can't come to an agreement so a channel gets pulled. You have to remember that if the providers go ahead and pay the demanded prices, your service is going to have to be increased to reflect that increase.

No one here is apologizing - we're other customers, same as you.  This isn't anyone from AT&T.  That said, AT&T didn't cut off your channel - Tegna (the owner of the stations in question) did, because they apparently want a major increase in the fee they charge AT&T to allow them to carry their (free over the air) stations.  (They have a history of doing this, to cable and satellite carriers too.)  As @lou_do says, if AT&T just gives in to that price increase, you price is going to go up too.  It appears there was a compromise offered by AT&T (hence the delay before the cutoff) but Tegna apparently decided it wasn't enough, and cut off the channels.

 I watch NBC more than any other local network.  I understand Comcast and Dish both offer these networks.  This will cost you when you start losing customers.

The contract is not with NBC, it is with the owner of your local NBC station, Tegna. Tegna owns many stations, they aren’t all NBC affiliates. This happens to Comcast and Dish too. Do a little research before you switch.

AT&T TV needs to come to an agreement with KSDK. Not having this as a station without going thru the app is unacceptable! If not rectified, I will be forced to leave AT&T after many years using this service. Bad business pan if you ask me!  
How can we get this fixed? Who can we talk to?

Anybody else about fed-up with AT&T/DirecTV dropping local channels?  I’ve already had two local channels dropped, and a third about to be dropped.  If it was just one channel, you might be able to believe AT&T whining about requested fees.  But, when it is three channels in a viewing area??  C’mon, man.  Get in the game!

 

If I have to get an outdoor antenna in order to get my local channels, and with the ability to stream about everything else we watch, it is getting pretty close to saying “Bye-Bye” DirecTV.   It’s over-priced as it is, anyway.

Why are NBC and ABC negotiating with AT&T Universe? These channels are free channels. If AT&T Universe cannot reach an agreement I will have to switch to Xfinity so I can watch blackish and my other favorite shows on both of these channels. This company will lose a lot of customers. I hope AT&T Universe can reach an agreement with TEGNA.

Not sure what you're trying to say? These channels are NOT free for AT&T to offer to its subscribers; indeed, the price the channels are asking to carry them is the whole point of contention.
