When are you going to resolve the problem with TEGNA?
When are you going to resolve the problem with TEGNA? It's disrupting my service in watching WFSS (channel 8 - ABC) in my area. Customers should not have to deal with the petty problems between Uverse and TEGNA. Work it out or lose a long time subscriber.

While AT&T employees do look at forum posts from time to time, we are here to represent the forum with our experiences as customers and do not represent AT&T in any official capacity with our responses and do so on our own time unpaid and off the clock. As employees we are not rewarded nor compensated to participate in these forums This forum is comprised of regular customers to communicate with other customers to offer advice and share experiences same as any other user Although there is a small team of customer care specialists that monitor the forums the sheer volume of posts are simply too many posts for these agents to respond to each one of them.

The response from Tim at AT&T below, is the EXACT same verbiage on both my ABC and NBC channels when I try to access them. So I’m thinking it’s either copy and pasted on here or we’re not really getting a Tim at AT&T. As far as options to view channels, it’s only one, which is hang rabbit ears out and disconnect cable. And my credit for losing half my local channels for 10 days ( so far ) is $20. NBC and ABC will not allow streaming in live time. AT&T’s net profit, for 2019, was 13.9 BILLION, but they will not pay Tegna’s new demand. If we all give back our $20 credit, would that help? We’ll even kick in another $10. This is beyond ridiculous.

This situation is beyond ridiculous! I am a rural customer with no other options and held hostage to the childish antics of both parties. DirecTV / satellite providers are my only choice to keep connected even to the local OTA stations despite living just outside a major metro market. Internet service is a measly DSL that is intermittent in reliability and slow at best. Cant hardly wait for the Tesla constellation to be up and running and I will definitively be cutting the cord from all these yahoos and spend my money somewhere else.

Switch to YouTube TV / It’s about half the cost of U-verse 200 / has your missing TENGA station(s) / cloud based DVR - record & watch from anywhere.
Problem is You Tube Tv dropped fox regional sport channels, if your local baseball, basketball, and hockey are carried on a fox sports regional network, you are out of luck.

We are going through yet another episode of broadcast interruptions from AT&T. This time it is not the familiar hardware failure but a nearly as familiar example of corporate greed that is causing the problem. AT&T will say that it is not their fault but I disagree. It is AT&T that I pay, (overpay), for my TV service therefor the buck stops with them.
Of the 200 plus channels that I get with my Uverse subscription, I only watch about 10 of them. About 25% of my viewing selections come from CBS. News, sports and favorite TV shows such as Blue Bloods, All Rise, 60 Minutes, Bull and others have been stolen from me. Yes, stolen is the correct word. I have paid for these shows but someone has taken them from me.
I will be expecting a refund for this loss of service. In the mean time, I think that AT&T should show that they care about their customers by providing a way for subscribers who are experiencing this loss of service, some sort of workaround. I know that I could go out and buy an antenna which will give me access to a live feed but what about the DVR capabilities that I pay for. If I cannot record the shows and am not available to watch the live feed it is like the tree that fell in the forest making a sound that no one can hear.
If I must buy an antenna to watch the programming that I have already purchased, will AT&T pay for the device and its installation?
What about recovering the lost shows. As of today, I have close to 25 "recorded" shows that just show the message that the broadcast has been blocked. AT&T should step up and provide subscribers a method to legally download the stolen shows to watch at their convenience. An even more innovative solution would be to push these lost shows to subscribers' DVRs. I am certain that AT&T has the technology to accomplish this. Do they care enough to do it? Caring and AT&T do not often end up in the same sentence from my experience.
While we wait for obligation to win out over greed, I, like many other long time AT&T subscribers are looking at my options for down the road. When I leave AT&T, I will be taking not just my TV service but Internet, mobile phone, and landline phone service. I suspect that I am not the only subscriber who is strongly considering dumping AT&T.

I live in an area in which Directv cannot reach an agreement with our local NBC affiliate. I am upset for a couple of reasons.
1. Directv is a billion-dollar company and they can't reach an agreement with a local affiliate? Come on you can do better.
2. Some of my favorite shows and news programs are on this channel
3. You would think during a pandemic a company would want to make life easier for people who have to be home! This creates more issues and concerns for families who cannot see their shows and news.
Again we are in the middle of a pandemic and holiday season and the greedy Directv company cannot reach an agreement.
This might finally push me to cut the cord!!

both acting like children. this should have been resolved a long time ago. It appears neither ATT or Tegna deserve our loyalty.

Regina needs to put these channels back on ASAP because I will drop them in the next few days. This is sad and bad for business

Never implied I was "entitled" to anything - but if DTV is referring us to Locast, they should disclaim it's a paid service as well.
For not being an employee, you sure reply to people as one.
It was just a rant - no response required - then or now.
