Where is the Hallmark Channel?

I am new to At&t U verus. I was told when I signed up the Hallmark Channel was available.  It took me a week to finally realize you don't have it. Very misleading.

Also just switched to U-Verse, and was specifically told it would include Hallmark Channel.. Must to my surprise it did not. Very disappointed that an in home salesperson would be so misleading just to make a sale

Never believe any of the door to door AT&T sales people. They are not employees of AT&T, and will say anything to make a sale.

If you read my post a few posts above, you will see that there may be negotiations going on at this time between AT&T and Crown Media, the owner of the Hallmark channels. There are no promises or any other news at this time.

Sorry @PalmBay but that should make you want to check out the channel list, yourself.  Did you specifically ask only about the Hallmark Channel?

There may be some movement on getting them added but they have been off U-Verse since 2010.  4 Years.

Got a Comcast/Xfinity mailer extolling Hallmark "Most wonderful movies of Christmas.," nonstop October 31 'til Christmas."  They did not make note that Hallmark was not offered on U-Verse.  I'm surprised!

I can't believe that u-verse don't have the Hallmark channel. I hate I left Comcast to go to u-verse. I WILL be switching back to Comcast. Now, I can't watch Christmas movie. I don't understand WHY at&t can't get Hallmark channel.

AT&T U-verse has not had the Hallmark Channel in it's lineup since August 31, 2010.  Did you not check the channel lineup for the channels that were important to you before you signed up for service?

What was the reason that you left Comcast?

The two posts by jbrock6 were posted in response to  September posts  from another Hallmark thread. They do no make any sense in this thread, and did not make any sense in the thread that they came from.

As a Cardinal fan, a more appropriate nickname would be lbrock20.

I want the Hallmark Channel back. I would not have signed up had i known they didn't have it. Now I am stuck for 2 years. Lifetime movie channel does not do it for me.

How are you stuck for 2 years?  If you are not pleased with the service, you can cancel within the first 30 days with no further obligation.

In any case, I'm not aware of any U-verse discount agreement with a two-year term; 12 months is as long as they go.
