WSB tv (ABC)

What is going on with the renewal of WSB channel 2 in Atlanta, also ABC. I understand we may lose this channel in a day or so, I sincerly hope this is resolved. I want to keep this channel as a part of my programming package. This is my primary local and World news channel. I hope this is resolved.

AT&T took them off. Locals are still working, just not on AT&T. It's happening around the US.

When can we expect a contract deal with WSOC Channel 9 (1009 HD) in the Charlotte, NC area to be reached?

Have you looked in to Spectrum? Charter recently purchased Brighthouse and changed the name to Spectrum. They are advertising bundle pricing as low as $29.99 a month guaranteed for 12 months.

I was told a bundle package comparable to my U-verse package would be $69.99 plus fees and estimated tax for the first 12 months, over $100.00 less than UV. Internet speed starts at 60 Mbps. Check it out! Good luck!

I called spectrum. For tv, internet, and phone, plus wifi, plus an extra box, cheapest was $116. Their $29 fliers are very misleading. But their internet is much faster.

Sounds to me that I must have spoken to script reader who will tell you what you want to hear to get your business (just like ATTUV script readers). I do like the fact that they will buy out my current promo pricing contract.

If this issue is not resolved by Tuesday I will seriously consider switching. In the meantime I will stream from abc.com.

It was totally understood that this station (WFTV) was an absolute necessity when I signed up with Direct TV. This is a real deal breaker for me and maybe with AT&T who I have been faithful to for over 30 years. I was told on Dec. 29, 2016 that the problem would be resolved Jan. 10, 2017 and that we would NOT lose the programing in the 10 days in between. Does this mean a solution to a simple problem is unsolvable?

I have to agree with you, and the timeing is really bad as today is the Jaguars football teams last game of the season. I’ve been with U-verse a very long time, and the bang for the buck has been going down and down. They offer all the cool deals to new subscribers, and nothing for their long term customers. I’m now shoping around for another service, all over not being able to what two channels.

Before I missed a game or a TV program I wanted to see that's available OTA, I'd hook up an antenna and watch it that way.  Perfect solution?  No but it's better than staring at a blank screen with smoke coming out of your ears.  Smiley Frustrated

Don't mess with old people.  The older we get, the less "Life in Prison" is a deterrent.

This has to be resolved. No one will stick with service that loses a major network. Is there a solution in sight? I was looking forward to the Florida/Iowa football game on January 2nd and thought for sure the problem would be resolved by then. I'm already getting an ear full from my wife about missing soaps. Please update your information to your customers.

No more ABC (wsoc) for Charlotte uverse. I know service changes a little bit we're talking a major network. So as I hear neighbors are being visited by sales people pushing AT&T, just makes me wonder if the new customers are being told, and maybe that's why they're offering newbies such major discounts while faithful customers are paying a fortune.
