Can I set-up tailgating slimline dish if I have an 18" round standard definition at my home?

I have tried to set up a slimline dish but since I only have an 18" round dish and no HD service, I can't seem to get an option to repeat satellite setup for the slimline dish. Is what I am wanting to do even possible? I may be spending some time overseas and don't want to get tied in with an exten

Thanks again. Do I need to know the specific satellite I am aiming at to use Dishpointer? Also, am I correct to assume that I still set the slimline dish with the noted tilt and skew settings?

Thanks for the reply Iitzdog. The dish is a 3LNB with the four coax outputs. Do I have to repeat satellite setup if the receiver is arleady set for an 18" round? If not, once I get it pointed at the satellitte, should I get a signal?

I am trying to do a similar install but when I go to the setup menu, I am not getting any options to repeat satellite setup. After I select setup, I go right to the signal strength screen. Any thoughts or suggestions?
