Could forum categories be made more specific?

Since I have been checking this forum to stay up to date with my satellite service, I have noticed that many people who ask a question do not make it clear whether they get service from a dish on the roof or through the internet.  Add to that the very confusing situation where one can get service through the internet as "DTV Stream or DTV via internet" depending on whether or not one provides their own equipment and has a contract.  

To make matters worse there is the Genie and Gemini receivers.  It even took me a while to keep those straight.

The forum members who try to help people with answers usually have to make a couple of posts just to try and determine what service the original poster has.  

Maybe before a forum user even enters the site there could be a very prominent page asking whether one has a dish on the roof or not, like the ads we see on TV with the two birds talking on the roof.
