DIRECTV dropping OANN?

Please retain OAN. It is unique programming and provides a valuable service. Without it you'll only be left with a few news channels that are all duplicates of each other and beyond boring. OAN is innovative and trailblazing. Please keep it!

CNN is predictable and is boring. MSNBC is like a squawking goose, caustic and hateful.  Do we demand they be cancelled? No, we just don't watch them - and judging by their ratings, that's what most people are doing. 

OAN is the only news on DirectTV that is worth anything. If DirectTV drops OAN, then DirectTV will essentially be dropping "News" completely as far as I'm concerned.

If someone on the right sees something he likes, he does it. If its something he doesn't like, he doesn't do it.

If someone on the left seems something he likes, he wants to PASS A LAW FORCING EVERYONE to do it. If its something he doesn't like, he wants to PASS A LAW BANNING EVERYONE from doing it.

Case in point: The right doesn't care for CNN or MSNBC. So they don't watch it.

The left doesn't like OAN. So they want to BAN EVERYONE from watching it.

OAN fans: look into KLOWDTV.com.  You can watch OAN there, along with OAN Plus. There is a free option that might include OAN now, or a $2.50 per month option with many more channels.

I get KLOWDTV on my Roku-enabled television.  And for those who don't know what Roku is, get it! Cut the cable TV people out of your life, you'll save a lot of money and open up your options. 

You can also get Klowdtv via fireTV, IOS (Apple), Google, etc - many other ways.

I joined AT&T TV - which is now Direct - just about a year ago. OAN was a primary reason I joined.  Is DirecTV really going to kill one of my primary reasons for joining?

To those that respond no tv network can be dropped while under contract. The articles clearly state that OAN’s contract will not be renewed in April. Also to this who say they will switch to a Dish well Dish and Directv are in talk to merge again so you won’t be costing Directv and viewers if you switch to dish. I know after years and years with Directv satellite and with their streaming when it was ATT I will be dropping Directv. OAN is the only thing unique that Directv had to offer.  Other streaming services which is what we will probably do offer much larger DVR space and more concurrent viewers. Seriously OAN was the only reason our family kept Directv. We don’t like a lot of the other providers but now they will be the same except for better extras. And a Directv CSR just told me they hadn’t decided to drop the channel they were in negotiations. I don’t know who to believe but when it’s dropped we drop them. Like a hot rock. Thanks for listening. I hope we can change the minds of the execs. Anyone know who we can write to? I like being able to get caught up on the news quickly without anyone telling me how to think.

If OAN is willing to pay a comparable rate which I imagine is difficult since they overlay Directv commercials over OAN’S commercials then they should be able to stay. This country is turning into the USSR or (Edited per community guidelines) Germany where if you think differently you lose your slot at the President’s office and now you lose your network slot. Sad what this country has become. If you don’t like what one says have it shut down. Well I’m not out there trying to shut down MSNBC so please leave OAN alone.

Please don’t take away the freedom of speech.  Please don’t drop OAN because the Executives don’t agree with it.  I’ve been a DirecTV customer for 28 years.  I want to hear all sides of the story.

I am going to cancel all my ATT accounts if ATT cancels OANN I have had enough of woke company's trying to silence all Americans.  I have been a customer for many years but This is the end of the road for ATT for me.  if I do not hear that you are not cancelling OANN by this week I will cancel all my att accounts.  I am sure thousands of your customers are going to cancel also for the same reason Good luck with your Woke customers.

Longtime ATT/Direct TV customer will be closing accounts ASAP.

Since Directv is canceling OANN, I'm canceling our directv, anyone know of another provider who will allow me to watch OANN and anything else I choose to watch in Florida Panhandle?

WHY would you even think about dropping OAN.... if you do I WILL drop directv....
