DIRECTV dropping OANN?

How could you bow down to the WOK cancel culture demands to dropping OANN?  They do not lie!  The "big lie of the 2020 election" is absolutely true. There is mountains of evidence of the election steal. All the misinformation comes from liberals not conservatives!  My husband and I will be dropping Directv if you go thru this in April. I will convince all our friends and family to do likewise. This is an attack on freedom of speech and our country. Shame on you!!!!

Last month we lost Bloomberg News for a few days, last night we lost OANN, and Newsmax also had a 'technical difficulty' notification.

Is Direct TV censuring what News we can watch, (and Why)?  (We are longtime subscribers in good standing with a bundle for internet/TV/phone -- but we would quit Direct TV (and sell our stock in AT&T, as well) if you feel the need to censure the news we get to see.  Please advise.

Why did you take this great station off the air?? Are you trying to censor what Americans watch? Sure seems like it. We want you to re-instate it.

We have AT&T and use it for our iPhones, and Direct TV cable. Keep in mind that you aren't the only company that provides the services we use and having been using for years.

Obviously you forget who pays for your service!!!!! 

 If one American News is not put back on within 30 days. I will cancel my entire subscription to directv and AT&T and seek out another provider!!!!!! 

 The leftist (Edited per community guidelines) will not dictate what I watch and what I do not watch...

 You're about to lose a lot income....

I have been with DIRECTV for over 20 years and had a second account in another state for 7 years I will also be looking for another TV service.  When your stopping free speech and your company becomes political it is time to leave.  I will give you 30 days as well.  Or you can cut CNN and ABC and then that will be a push.  As you know they're becoming more and more streaming services so leaveing your political company will hurt you a lot more than Me  So get American peoples real views instead of YOUR LEFTIST CEO.

I agree with this post 100% and will be cancelling all my AT&T accounts if OAN not put back on.  I pay BIG money for direct TV and have been a customer for 15 or more years but will not continue if the do not make a change to put OAN back in the line up.

@Cburlingham @sinkingb  Please read OAN complaint filed in California Supreme Court against DIRECTV (its on right side of OAN homepage).  The truth lies in there… the words “contract renewal” and “keep costs low” are forms of introducing plausible deniability.  

Consumers deserve news genres that are from all views… not a centrally controlled one.

if you read main thread they closed, you will find there are many other options out there offering conserv..ative friendly packages at very competitive pricing.

I was contemplating switching from comcast, but if you are cancelling OAN which I watch regularly, I will have to reconsider. Free speech is vital for our democratic republic. I’m tired of the same old recycled news from CNN, CNBC, ABC, NBC, CBS. I want to hear from both sides. A good example is the Florida law banning teachers from teaching explicit (Edited per community guidelines)ual opinion to kindergarten children. It is misrepresented by by all the mainstream media.

I am so angry you have removed OAN from your line up. Since that is one of only about 5 stations I watch , please tell me why I should spend $139 each month when I can get most of the programs I watch for a fraction of that cost.

Consider this my filing of a complaint of the cancellation of OAN.  I consider this a censuring of Political views and a violation of the 1st amendment rights. "Rights to Religion, Speech, Press, Assembly, Petition"  When the platform for news media starts censuring what you are able to listen to, I consider it a violation of my rights.  I am considering cancelling the two direct Tv accounts I have, plus all my cell phones services, ipad services and my business phones and moving to another service.

why is my u-verse NOT having OAN and AWE channels broad casted any more.  THESE ARE THE ONLY TWO CHANNELS THAT I WANT TO STAY WITH ATT?????????????

Also read complaint OAN filed against DIRECTV in California Supreme Court.  It’s posted on OAN home page on the right side along with other relevant letters from congress and attorney generals.

Oan is the only News station that you can look to let you know what is truthfully going on in the world today!!! Only the far left want it gone,so what are you ? Direct tv will loose a lot of customers over this,you are taking away our CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS!!! Our forfathers faught for these rights,their blood paid for them!! Maybe God willing all the people that have Direct TV will cancel it and go somewhere else that don't try to take our God Given Rights from us!!!

OANN carries truth in broadcasting and readily acknowledges a mistake if they should make one. CNN is documented to be 82% wrong and never acknowledges a mistake.

This sounds like a political move against (Edited per community guidelines)s!  Not renewing the OAN contract was a ploy to maintain control of free speech!  Seems like people should have a choice as to watching a (Edited per community guidelines) channel or a (Edited per community guidelines) channel for the news in order to make a good decision.  I hope more people complain and in the end would mean renewing the OAN contract. If you can’t handle the heat with channels competing against each other, then you need to get out of the business your in!!  We like to make our own decisions….not liking the brainwashing effect of having only channels Directv deems proper to watch.  I want the OAN channel back so fix it and renew their contract!! I know Directv offers streaming but I’m not interested.  I want my OAN programming back!!  And I want to have the option of watching with my other programming.

Do not come back and give me any of your corporate answers either about some expense we have been DirecTV customers for 15 years and because you are all a bunch of (Edited per community guidelines)s you feel OAN does not preach your dumb narrative. That's fine though who cares about customers their only good for their money right? Well as soon as I can I will be leaving DirecTV you no longer care about ALL of your customers. Please don't tell me I can watch OAN on line either that's not the (Edited per community guidelines) point and you know it I hope you make all your (Edited per community guidelines) customers happy cause that's all that matters to you all.  Disgusting
