Running Satellite signal from DTV Reciever through VCR and then split to 3 peripheral TV's.
Running Satellite signal from Receiver through VCR and then split to 3 peripheral TV's. Satellite receiver directly to Main TV thru HDMI; peripheral TVs get a signal from VCR that is split between the 3 of them. Been this way for > 10years. Have noticed a gradual degradation of audio over the last year. Any idea as to cause of degradation?

Degraded audio on all TVs or just the "remote" TVs? My first guess would be the VCR. How are splitting the signal to the remote TVs? RF coax? Composite video/audio?

When I wrote the post it was a split of a composite signal. Since then we have removed the VCR but still a composite signal from receiver to modulator to tv's. Slight improvement removing the VCR. I think we just are splitting the signal too much. The video is beautiful.
