775 error on new / old set up, bad LNB?

Just moved into a new rent house and trying to get my sat up and running. The dish from the previous house belongs to the owner, so I couldn't take it with me. At this house it appears to have the same dish sl3-swm. I say this because there is only one wire dropped from the roof, a four way splitter in the box and it doest look like a 5. I re-terminated all connections after first set up didn't work, yes, they're properly done. I had to make extensions from the house lines to the the splitter, spectrum cut them short on their install. I used a scout 3 to ensure I had the proper cables hooked up.

I have tried multiple ways of setting this up. Pwr to swm in dc pass with terminator on pwr to ird, and terminators on the two ends I wasn't using yet.

Pwr to swm to the lnb and pwr to ird feeding the splitter.

Pwr to swm feeding the lnb and pwr to ird to the receiver

I have h25 receivers, all grounds look good.

Anything I'm missing?

Haven't been up to the dish yet, have a buddy coming with an extension ladder this weekend, my 10ft won't get me on the roof here. I ordered a sl5—swm and new four way splitter, but to not waste time with my buddy, is there anything I'm missing? Should I get a new drop line too? I have used rg6q for everything I have done. I have enough left to make the line, can I steal the ground off of the one that is up there?

Thanks in advance!

Are you connecting the power inserter to the red power pass through port on the SWM splitter? You have to make sure that the coax to the dish is connected to the red power port on any other SWM splitter.

Yes, pwr to swm is connected to the power pass port on the splitter, and same with the dish to the splitter.

The dish needs to be connected to the single IN input port on the SWM.

could also be a bad LNB or the OP is mistaking the LNB for a SWM while it is truly non-SWM

So yes, I know how to hook up a splitter properly, we can move past that and the swm should be in the lbn not the splitter, correct?

If it wasn't a swm lbn then wouldn't I have a two / four wire drop?
