HDMI signal showing weak or no input on tv

I have 4 HDMI ports on the tv and all ports show the same message.  Satellite and tv setup previously worked.  I have confirmed that all 4 hdmi ports on tv work with a blue ray player and that hdmi cord is working and have tried multiple working hdmi cords.   I have reset the receiver and the tv.   When starting up the receiver, the picture shows until it finishes loading but goes to weak or no input when time to show the channel picture.  If I use the composite outputs, the picture displays.

The weird thing with a smaller 21 inch tv the picture displays through the hdmi port with no issue.  This setup is at my cabin.  I have tried the receiver on multiple tv's at home and the hdmi works fine.  It doesn't appear the issue is with the receiver.  I haven't brought the tv home with issue to see if that works on my home setup since it is a larger tv.

Could the issue be with the Power Inserter?  Would it be worth replacing?

No, it's not the Power Inserter. My guess is that your TV is not able to handle the video resolution being output by the DirecTV Receiver. What DVR/Receiver model number? What TV brand/model number?

The DirecTV will typically output the video resolution of the native broadcast .... 720p or 1080i for HiDef channels. Perhaps your TV can't handle the Receiver's output resolution.

Thanks for the response.  The receiver is a H25-500 and the tv is a Hisense 55H9G.   The tv can handle all of the HiDef outputs.  It previously worked with this tv and I have tested all the ports with a blu-ray on a blu-ray player.  Any other thoughts?  I would like to try a different receiver but don't have an easy way to do so and the receiver hdmi port still works with other tv's.

I'm at a loss. It seems that the Hisense HDMI inputs are fine. And it seems that the H25 HDMI OUT is fine since it works on other TVs. And you've tried different HDMI cables. Very puzzling.

Try a composite cable and see if there’s a difference. Additionally, try pressing the ‘RES’ button on the H25 after it has been given at least 5 min to boot up. Pressing the ‘RES’ button cycles through 480i, 480p, 720p, and 1080i

OP stated they already tried  Composite Video and it works fine.

Good idea to toggle the Receiver's OUTPUT RESOLUTIONS.

Very curious to know the solution.

I have tried multiple HDMI cables and used the same cables that worked with other tv's.

I have tried the reset button on the receiver.  It seems like I either need to get another receiver to try or bring the tv home and try it here.

It would be worthwhile to try that TV with a different DirecTV box.
