LG TV will not pair with DirecTV RC73 remote
My LG TV once paired with my RC73 remote and mini receiver. Replaced the remote for same model due to defective remote. Since then my LG TV will no longer pair. Reset the TV, went thru 3 different RC73 remotes. Reset the DirecTV min and main box several times. Lost count on how many times I have gone thru all 76 codes for LG. No luck. Having the worst time with DirecTV support. It depends greatly on who you speak too. Obviously the people are not attending the same training. Is there any one out there that has an idea of what's going on?

Have you pressed and held the mute and enter buttons to place the RC73 into RF mode to program it?

Yes, that only pairs the remote to the cable box to us RF not for the TV. Thanks for your response

The RC73 uses both RF and IR to control both once the TV is programed while in RF mode.
