Signal to IRD/Power to SWM

I am looking to have some football parties and want to move a receiver to my garage. I am fairly knowledgeable with how everything is wired in my house but I just wanted to look for clarification before I move and connect any receivers. I currently have an SWM attached in my storage room with a line running from the "Power to SMW" into a 4 Way splitter, occupying one of the 4 in slots. The other 3 are going to different rooms in my house and the out going to the dish. The "Signal to IRD" port is empty. From everything I have read online, I can run a line from this port into a receiver in my garage.  I am planning on moving the setup in my bedroom and bringing it downstairs for the afternoon. I just wanted to clarify that this is correct. Any help offered is appreciated. Thanks.

sure, but don't know why the installer did not terminate this port with an 75 ohm connector,  all unused ports in a SWM system must be terminated.  but you can run a line from here to the receiver.
