Cancelling a previously scheduled recording.

I want to record The Oscars, but when I hit record, it says “Can’t record. This program conflicts with other scheduled recordings.” I have previously set 60 Minutes to record. How do I cancel the recording of 60 Minutes?

We're sorry you're unable to record the program, Deanbrett. It is possible that another program is scheduled to be recorded during the same time slot, causing a conflict. To resolve this issue, please check your DVR recording schedule and see if there is any conflict. If so, you can stop the other program and try re-recording the Oscars show. We hope this solution works for you, and you can enjoy the program you wish to watch. Stephanie, DIRECTV Community Specialist

Are you a DirecTV Stream or DirecTV Satellite customer?  This should not happen with DirecTV Stream recordings.

@DEANBRETT  You sound like you are a Satellite customer.  If you are a streaming customer you should not be having this issue as Stream has Unlimited recording and there should be no conflicts in recording shows.  To cancel a show that is set to record just select the show that you want to cancel and then choose cancel recording.
