Cannot login to iOS with Directv Stream Credentials.

Hello. I’m having the same problem logging in the iOS app as well. Any help would be appreciated. 

So I spent about 20 minutes on the phone with support.  Basically they said it’s a known issue, engineers are working on it, they have no ETA of a fix, and here’s a $15 credit on your next bill.  It’s a little silly that it’s still not working.  It was working just fine for years.  Frustrating.

That is frustrating. I just posted on DIRECTV subreddit to see if anybody there has any solutions.

lol they told me up to 72 business hours to resolve. It went out on Thursday. Called 630am pst on Friday to get resolved and the lady didn’t even escalate. Called again on Friday at 3pm pst to find out they never escalated and that now it’s also going to take up to 72 business hours which means they aren’t going fix anything over the weekend. Basically we’ll try to fix it by Wednesday. Here’s $20. (Edited per community guidelines)

by the way the second caller started blaming Apple devices and said she was gonna switch over to android. Uhhhhh ok. How about you actually fix the issue instead of blaming me about my ecosystem that’s worked for 12+ years.

i even tried on my laptop, on google chrome, no luck either

I keep harping on this but they won’t listen. It’s clearly an SSO issue because I even tried downloading other apps to use my directv sign in and it’s failing to authorize.

such a big failure for a big company.

I have exactly the same issue when I use my DirecTV credentials to log in on my iPad. However when I use my AT&T credentials to log in it works perfectly without that error. What would cause this error on my DirecTV credentials but not my AT&T credentials? I pay AT&T my DirecTV if that matters.
