Yes, you can but first when creating the new streaming account you will need to use a different email address than the one you currently have with your Satellite service because if you don't the two different services get confused and will not let you into the streaming account. There are 2 different Directv Streaming services. You have Directv Stream (BYOD) bring your own device and Directv Stream Via the Internet. The difference between the 2 services is as follows Directv BYOD you provide the devices to view Directv Stream on such as Roku, Firestick, etc... There are no hidden fees and you can cancel your service at any time as you are not under a contract. The Directv Stream Via the Internet Directv provides you with a Directv Gemini Device and you are under contract for 2 years and have to pay an advance receiver fee for your devices. Hope this helps!
