DirectTV Stream keeps adding "add-on" services each month - how do I block?
In the last six months I received a series of emails sent around midnight - 2:00 from DirectTv stream confirming "add-on" services such as HBO, cinemax etc. I have not been adding these services. I have called DirectTv Stream 5 times to have the charges reversed and cancelled. Yet this still keeps happening every month. Has this happened to anyone else?
My understanding is there is no way to block these purchase for Stream as parental controls only control content rating and not "add ons". Suggestions on how to get this to stop?
Thanks

Check the email address of the person/company sending you these emails. I don’t recall DIRECTV/DIRECTV STREAM ever sending such emails, usually you become aware of changes via the monthly bill.
If something like this is truly occurring, change your DIRECTV STREAM password. Moreover, if the changes continue, you may think about re-signing up with a new email ( unless you are in a grandfathered package as those CANNOT be restored)

When you get these emails saying that the channels have been added are you able to access them on your devices and view the added "add on" channels? Do you have anyone else that lives with you that could have added the "add on" channels to your account? Have you shared your account with anyone?

Thanks for the suggestions but they are legitimate emails and the changes are showing on the account overview page. Customer services acknowledges the issue and reverses the charges. But it keeps happening. I'll change the password to see if that has any impact but will welcome any other suggestions.
I would cancel service but there is no legitimate competitor for cable service.

Somehow someone is adding those services to your account. Certainly, change your account password.

What kind of device are you using? B/c it's easy to change services with the Dtv Stream box.
