HBO MAX IS NOW MAX Offer

I saw the HBO MAX IS NOW MAX offer at the link below:

The offer says:

Max subscribers get their first 2 months on us

Max auto-renews after 2 months at then prevailing rate (currently $14.99/mo.), unless you call 844.966.1732 to change or cancel. Limit one 2-month offer per DIRECTV customer. Offer subject to change & may be modified or discontinued at any time without notice.
All DIRECTV customers can add Max by accessing their  DIRECTV account portal, or by calling  1.855.335.3616
I went to the portal, but the offer was not there and would not reflect in the account changes. I called the number, but the DIRECTV customer service representative said she did not know anything about it. I gave her the link. She said sometimes that stuff does not show up and she could not help.
Is the offer no longer available?

Shouldn't that be "DirecTV subscribers get their first 2 months of Max on us"?  As it is written it makes no sense.  If you are already a Max subscriber, you are already a Max subscriber - however it is you get it.  (Yes, I know what they meant, and badly written ad copy is par for the course, I guess.)
