Max app not working with DirecTV stream provider login.
The Max app on my iPad was connected through my DirecTV account. It completely got logged out and now is asking me to create a new account through my streaming provider. I was told by DirecTV support yesterday that this issue was being worked on.
Is this issue fixed yet?

I notice the DIRECTV STREAM TV provider doesn't show up on the list of providers to choose from unless you use the search bar. This helped my situation, as just clicking DIRECTV as the provider was causing what most are seeing.

It is still not working for me. When I spoke to a representative on the phone, they said this issue started on 11/3. That is a ridiculous amount of time for this to not be corrected yet.
It’s not like this is a free channel that we aren’t paying extra for. My primary use of it is through Roku so basically I am paying for nothing. I tried to be patient but am leaning towards cutting out Direct tv and recreating my profiles/lists in a new account.

did either of you try adding the account again and see what happens? that's what I ended up doing with my (satellite) account.
But then I had two accounts at Max and had to call Max (not DirecTV) to have them remove the duplicate (older) account. works OK now.

Just started yesterday on my TV's. I assume DirectTV is going to issue some type of credit (probably not). Between this and the recent outage of ABC, I am considering switching to another provider.

This issue hit me today with the MAX app on my Roku. Says I need to log in with my DirecTV Stream credentials, but it won't work. But I can still log in just fine on my iPhone. Let's get this fixed, please!

after adding DirecTV Stream, did you go back and check your Max account to see if you now have more than one subscription?

TigerWoods, you are a genius! I tried the DirectTV Stream TV lookup and it worked perfectly! Thanks for coming up with a solution. I guess DirectTV does not have anyone that could think of the answer. Let's see, the original posting posting from the Customer Service was on November 3rd............

easiest way to check is login to your Max.com account and look at the Subscription section. login at the link below:
Subscription • Max
if you have more than one subscription, you should contact Max support (billing) and let them know and they'll remove the older one.
