Six Months of No Access via the app - code 201

I’ve read I should change my password if I also have an ATT account, but follow the prompts to do so in the app and it gives me the “something went wrong” error message over and over. How else can I reset my password?  I’m about to cancel this service. Error code 201 in the app, can’t change password. How has this still not been fixed? iPhone

It's not just the password that needs to change. You want to use a different email address, too. Their systems seem to get confused when your AT&T and DirecTV email addresses are the same. Often the easiest solution is to cancel DirecTV Stream and then sign up again with a different email address.
