I need you to team with Stingray Music so that I can access it for free through DirecTV Stream. As of now, neither DirecTV or DirecTV Stream are listed in the providers section.

First, this is only an open community forum of users and subscribers. No one here has an inside connection to DirecTV Stream development team. Second, there are no "you" here, just other subscribers like yourself.

@DeanSOMD_2019 - Adding music channels to DirecTV (satellite) service might make sense (I don't have it, so I can't say, though they may well not have the satellite transponder bandwidth - I note Dish doesn't offer it either).  However, it seems to make little or no sense for DirecTV Stream. 

Stingray Music exists to provide music channels over cable TV systems, which provide dedicated (single function) transmission infrastructures and set top boxes - they only provide access to what the cable system offers, so if you want music over your TV, it has to come from your cable company.

DirecTV Stream, on the other hand, is an internet service (it runs over a normal internet connection) and the equivalent to set top boxes it uses (Roku, FireTV, AppleTV, and their own streaming device) offer the opportunity to add apps for all kinds of music services.  The DirecTV streaming device comes with Pandora pre-installed, and on the Google Play store you can find apps for Spotify, Amazon Music, iHeart Radio, and numerous others - I would guess the other devices offer at least those and probably more.  Given all those options, there doesn't seem to be a need to additionally offer a more limited music service within the Stream app itself.  Using these other services would require exiting the DirecTV Stream app and running a separate app, but that doesn't seem that big a deal, especially since it seems unlikely that people would be switching back and forth from music to TV channels the way they switch among TV channels.

Yes, some of those music services require additional subscriptions/fees, but if Stream offered Stingray, I wouldn't expect it to be provided for free (since it would cost them to get it) - they'd either have to raise the regular subscription prices to accommodate it (which wouldn't fly with the vast majority of Stream subscribers) or have it as a separately changed add-on anyway.

DirecTV satellite includes dozens of music channels. DirecTV stream includes none. When I switched to Stream, I was disappointed by this, saving no money and losing many channels that I listen to as much as watching TV. So it is relevant and valuable to have music channels under one provider.

Sorry, that's a stupid response. If you never checked it, MTV is not a music channel. It's a video Channel & not about selecting a music genre to enjoy for hours! Omg. When was last time you enjoyed a couple of hours of opera on MTV? Ridiculous reply.

Besides music channels it would be great to have the NFL Network & the NFL Sunday Ticket available for DirecTV Stream subscribers. AT&T has jacked everything up since taking over.

Actually, AT&T has nothing to do with it anymore. They've spun off DirecTV.  It's all up to DirecTV now. 

In the past couple of years we've lost OAN & AWE & I have been requesting NFL Network & the NFL Sunday Ticket with DirecTV Stream but so far nothing... Whoever is running DirecTV Stream doesn't seem to care about their subscribers.
