Switching from Satellite to Streaming

At the ATT store they gave me streaming equipment for a free 14 day trial. The time is up and I want to discontinue my satellite (it has been disconnected by me for a couple of weeks now) and go to strictly streaming with the package the guy at ATT set me up with. I can't find anything about how to get the billing changed and they're still billing me for the satellite equipment. Also, do I need to return it?

These are separate services that have nothing to do with each other. You can't "switch" from one to the other. If you don't want satellite you need to cancel it (1-800-531-5000), pay any early cancellation fee and return whatever of your satellite equipemnt they want you to return. Until you cancel it they will continue to bill you, including for the current payment cycle.

You have to call customer service and cancel your Directv Sat. Service if you already have the Directv Streaming service setup then there is nothing to do on that front and yes you will have to ship back your sat. equipment or they will charge you a whole bunch of money for the equipment!  So if I was you I would call and cancel ASAP and make sure that they send you the boxes to return your equipment if you do not get it within a week then I would call them again!  Because they will not hesitate to charge you even if it is a delay on their end getting the shipping boxes to you!
