But, if you don’t see what you want, you can add the apps you prefer. Such as the Apple Tv app. Here’s how: Press the APPS or Diamond button on your DIRECTV STREAM remote. @DIRECTVhelp - again (as is too common) a non-responsive (and incorrect) response. The Apple TV app is not currently available for the DTV streaming device, even though it is in the Google Play store. I have no idea why - for a long time Apple didn't offer an Android TV version of their app, but they came out with one well over a year ago. It could be that DTV needs to do something to indicate to the Google Play store that the app is valid, or it's possible that there is a technical (compatibility) issue. (It's also possible that there is a financial issue - someone wants money from someone first - but I'd hope that isn't the case.)
