Always having to reboot the box

Is there an issue that I don’t know about with the DIRECTV box having be unplugged every couple of days? 
Every couple of days the response time while trying to do something on the box gets really slow. If you repower it it will work for a couple of days again.

This has started about a month and half ago.

No problem with the box here. Mine has been up for weeks. But I typically reset my environment (modem, router, and streaming devices) at least once a month anyways.
