Amazon Fire Cube Functionality?

I bought the latest Amazon Fire Cube specifically to work with DirecTV Stream but there are some key features that seem to be missing or won't work. Things like the skip backward/forward buttons are missing. I also can't set dvr recordings from the Cube and the 4K channel is missing.

It is meant to replace a Roku Express. When plugged in the Roku and loaded the DirecTV Stream to Roku, these features are available.

Are these features unavailable on the Fire Cube?

Thanks!

Thanks for reaching out. I've run through all the fix/upgrade issues in the help document. I cleared the app cache and data had no effect. The connection is ethernet and the speed test says it's getting plenty of signal. The fire cube says it has 76% internal storage space.

I can now set DVR recordings, but that's it. Still can't access the rewind/skip functions. No 4K as well.

I've also asked this as a question on Amazon, but they aren't as quick to respond.

The easiest solution is probably to return the Fire Cube and upgrade my Roku to support ethernet and 4K.
