You should contact support and demand a credit to your account. As a paid subscriber, you should not pay for a service that is not working.

This is exactly our issue (though our iPad works). We had a black screen, though all other apps on our firestick worked. We rebooted all the things. Reloaded the app, and now get Care Code 600 when trying to log in. We know our log in is correct, but when we called support, they had us change our password. That didn't help.
The finally said that it has become a "known issue in the database" and that it should be working by Wednesday. 😳 That's a long time to go with no TV when you're paying this much for a subscription.

I have 4 tv's on Amazon Fire stik with the Directv Streaming App. 2 are working fine, 2 are not. The ones not working, show the Care Code 600 error. No problems with the internet and I went through the troubleshooting steps. Support said there is an outage in my area. So why are 2 working and 2 not. I don't think they know what the problem is...

Out of 3 tvs only one works for the direct tv stream. I have tried everything and spoke with 3 different people yesterday Nov 7th. I was told it was a bug and should be fixed in 12 hours. If it’s not fixed by tomorrow we are going to cancel and go to Hulu live. It’s sad they can’t get this care code 600 fixed after 3 days. Aggravating!

@Johnnredapples Care Codes are errors for DirecTV Satellite service, not DirecTV Stream. Are you a previous satellite subscriber? Using the same credentials? If so, you need to use different credentials.

it came back for no reason last night. I tried everything reset network settings clearing cache. Reinstalling. The all of a sudden it started working again.
