Care code 600

Direct TV streaming was working this morning on the firestick and then quit around 0800. We have been receiving the error code ever since. Amazon, Netflix and various other steaming services work. I have Uninstalled/installed Direct TV stream, manually rebooted the router and wifi multiple times and contacted customer support. Nothing is working to get this issue resolved for us. The bedroom TV is the only one still functioning with this app currently. Very bizarre. Thoughts?

Same problem in Al on fire stick and Roku works fine on samsung tv and I-pad, they said it’s escalated and they are working on it?? useless!

Sounds like the problem is more ubiquitous then yesterday.  Posted on a few threads already...same issue others having..here in CT.  Cannot login via firestick and get timed out with Care Code 600 and cannot log in at all even on DTV website.  Timed out there too...has to be an issue with the server and account authentication all of a sudden.

Will this really be resolved by Weds as others have mentioned?  I couldnt even get thru to Customer Service and when i could the connection was awful.

Same issue here , was on phone with tech this morning for an hour , the tech told me it’s an outage with the Directv App , and they know about it . That they are working on getting it fixed and up and running !

Same thing, out in UT since Saturday.  Black Screen when launching the DirectTV app in our AppleTV devices.  Quit, relaunch, still black screen and no sound.  Rebooting didn't help.

Uninstalled, and now stuck at the log-in screen, where we enter our registration and password.  Called Customer Service, worse than useless.

Once again, everyone should request account credit due to lose of service. No one should be paying for a subscription they can not use.

Those getting back screens when launching the app... try to let it sit there, at the black screen, for 3-5 mins.. after that time, it begins to work for me. Just something  to try.

Good to know caeguy! But the first thing support has you do is change your password/reinstall the app. Stuff like that which moves you into the interminable CC 600 loop. There's no way to get back to the black screen. Are you using a Firestick?

If it does, the first thing I will do is demand credits! Had several applied over the years. Money talks and gets action going. They have nothing to lose if subscribers are not asking for rebates for lost of service on their side.

stefsull - I have AppleTv and Firestick. The only way I could get the Firestick to start working was to switch the network over to my phone hotspot. Then it worked. I disconnected from the hotspot and went back to my normal wifi and continued to work. I know this sounds strange and makes no sense but it worked for me.

Looks like the fix DTV was supposedly working on did the trick...I'm back up running and can access my account online again!

Hopefully this last and doesn't crap out again in a week or two

I'm not sure exactly what if anything was pushed thru to me.  Based on all the errors I got including online DNS server time outs...I can only assume it had to with ATT servers and whatever they did to fix it worked. All I did was re-enter my credentials on the long in page on the app and the main screen popped up within 2 secs...so I'm not poking the bear anymore!

Next thing up will be to request a refund for 4 days of no service
