Direct Tv streaming audio issue

So far I’ve read everything on the internet. None of you have a permanent fix for this and AT&T won’t talk about it. We had YouTube tv and never…never had this problem. Oh! And they say try this and try that! We have 5 TV’s. 4 direct Tv streaming TV’s at home and 1 in our motorcoach. Same issue! Even in our coach when we’re out of town.  A couple TV’s at home have Roku built into them the others have a Roku stick. They all have the audio issue! It’s AT&T folks! Stop beating up on yourselves and deal with it or switch carriers. It’ll take a boat load of us to wake them up.

Exactly, I have been complaining about this problem since the beta of AT&TNow streaming service years ago, problem typically starts with a transition to a commercial, then persists into the program after the return from commercials.  I resolve it by a quick up channel, and down channel.  the problem exists in three locations in two states, on all  TVs (all ROKU - STICKS, and ROKUTVs), and 3 internet services.

AT&T / DirecTV won't even provide lip service for it

The texting contact app allows only two audio option problems to report on:

  • Audio not in sync
  • No sound
