Direct TV - Streaming Service - Box issues
I have had Direct TV stream for over 3 years now. I have noticed a slowness in response time when guide loads or when trying to launch an app. I restart the box weekly, along with my router. I also have a booster I purchased from AT&T that is hardwired into the box, and restart that weekly. I even ensure the box is updated by going into settings. When I try to call customer service I am unsuccessful in getting to the right department and if I get someone that can try to help they say they have no clue and my only option is to buy a refurbish box since my warranty period is up.
I understand there may be other providers in my area, but those are not an options at this time. My other two tv's use a fire-stick which is okay as those are not used as much.
How can I get to the correct department to help resolve me issue? The last time I called they promised someone would call or email me which I just laughed since I heard that line from them before.
I do not want to spend $50 for another box and have same issues. And if that is my only option would I be able to keep the first box and put it on a different tv and would there be a fee (one time or monthly) for that.
