DirecTV Stream and a new TCL Android TV

How can I get my DirectTV stream to work on this- should I get a Roku stick?  The Google play store doesn't seem to have the app to download ?

You’ll need a streaming device like a Roku, Fire Stick, Apple TV, or even the DIRECTV STREAM Osprey box which can be purchased online. The benefits of the actual DIRECTV STREAM box are that it includes a handy remote and is much faster compared to your average streaming device.

You have to sideload if you have an android tv device that isn't a Directv Stream box. I have the app sideloaded onto my tivo stream 4k android--works great but that is my bedroom tv. I use the Dtv Stream box for my living room. That's what you should get--comes with a remote and you can get a refurbished one for 49.99 with a one year warranty from Directv. Plus their box has google play store for your apps (netflix, hulu, etc)
