DirecTV Stream Box Constantly Freezing

I've been having an issue for over a month now where after powering my TV on from an off state roughly 3x, my DirecTV Stream box is frozen on the first clip from the last channel. I can change the channel and access all the menus, but the only way to get the video to resume is performing a soft reset, or pressing the red button once. If I change the channel, it will freeze on the first clip of video available on that channel. I've already had the box replaced, so I believe its a software update that caused this. Box is connected via ethernet, so I know its not a network issue. Engineering team, please investigate!
