DirecTV Stream Channels

I was recently, somewhat forced, to switch from DirecTV - Satellite to DirecTV - Stream.  In comparing the 2 services, it is very noticeable that with DirecTV Stream, many of the channels that are with DirecTV Satellite are missing.  Channels such as CW50, ION, Telemundo, don't seem to be available and I'm wondering if there are any plans to update DirecTV Stream to maintain the same level of channels that are available with DirecTV Satellite.  This will be very helpful as many residence in the DMV, (DC, MD, N. VA), area weigh the pros and cons of switching from Satellite to Stream.
