DIRECTV Stream: osprey box would not allow 4k using a new HDMI Splitter; non-4k is OK.
Old splitter: "OREI" model: UHDS-102C; works fine with 4k & non-4k
New Splitter: "J-Tech Digital" model: 4KPS2; 4k is disallowed by an OSPREY with error message, non-4k operation is OK
Manufacturer had no answer.
DOes anyone have a suggestion or it OREI the only one that works with DIRECTV stream

Sorry, I already returned the: "J-Tech Digital model: 4KPS2" to the vendor (Amazon) so I cannot recreate the condition.
I'm still looking for a solution and am open to suggestions.
