Directv streaming device vs Firecube UI
Does anyone know if there is any big difference in the UI if you use the Directv device vs a Firetv cube? I'm using the cube now and it seems fine...is there any advantage to now also hooking up the Directv device and using both? Thanks.

The big thing is the DirecTV Stream device supports channel numbers if that is important to you.

The Directv Stream Box offers the use of channel numbers and voice control through the remote and you have quicker access to record shows and you can access your DVR's recorded shows more quickly through the remote. The remote for the Directv Stream box makes the user experience more like traditional cable/sat. service. While the fire cube is nice it is a little less user-friendly in the sense that you cannot change the channel directly without going into the guild and scrolling through to the channel of your choice and you have no voice control while in the app.
