DTV Stream Remote
The remote controls the sound, channels, etc and turns the TV and streaming box off, it also turns the streaming box on. It will not, however turn the tv back on.

You've landed the right place for help. Let's Fix DIRECTV STREAM remote control issues by following these steps:
Disconnect (or unpair) your remote from the DIRECTV STREAM device.
1. Press and hold the DASH (–) and APPS buttons until you see the LED lights on the remote blink blue twice.
2. Restart your DIRECTV STREAM device by pressing and releasing the red button on the side of the device.
3. Point the remote at your DIRECTV STREAM device and press the FAST FORWARD and REWIND buttons at the same time to pair your remote with the device.
