DVR Recordings issue
I'll often read about a new series/movie or hear it mentioned on the car radio that I want to record and find it easier to set it up thru the Directv App on my phoneimmediately instead of trying to remember to do so on the TV later. But lately, when watching TV my recordings do not appear, neither on the "List" accessed with the DIRECTV remote while streaming with the Gemini nor in my Library if I use my Firestick to open the Directv app there.
Yet if I search my Library in the Directv App on the phone the recordings ARE there and if I wanted I could watch them on my phone. Why aren't they showing up on my TV List or DVR Library? Just for grins I decided there must be a glitch with my mobile App so tried to reschedule a particular series thru the TV only to see it say there "Recording Set". I'm at a loss. In the past I never had any issue setting up a recording with the mobile App and then watching it on the TV at a later date. I have no idea what changed, but something did!

Yes I am subscribed to Directv Streaming services, for over a year now. As I noted I can sign into the mobile App and watch any number of DVR recordings, but they do not all appear on my TV.

What's the streaming device on your TV?
All DirecTV Stream recordings are stored in the "cloud" and should be viewable on any streaming device at any location. The exception might be a recording from a local station that's not your home market station.

I am recording a few major network/cable series, like SNL on NBC and John Oliver on HBO like I've done in the past with no issues.

But i'm not sure it's related to my issue. for instance, I mentioned John Oliver's Last Week Tonight as a show I record. I set the recordings up using my DirecTV mobile App, and just now checked and I have 10 different recordings of Last Week Tonight there that I can access and watch yet NONE appear in my DirecTV Library or List. Stranger, if I try to set it up on the TV to record I'm told it's already set to record.

litzdog911, I'm using an Amazon Firestick on our smart TV, have been for over a year with no recording issues. Recordings I set up on my smartphone with the Directv App are all on the App, but don't appear on my TV, no matter whether I access the Directv App and search 'My Library' using the Firestick or Directv using the Gemini device and clicking 'Lists' on the Directv remote.

You can find your conversation list by clicking the Messaging icon on the upper right portion of the page beside the notification icon (bell). Mohammad, DIRECTV Community Specialist
