Fire Stick update?

Every since they pushed out the new update a few days ago I have had nothing but problems with direct Tv stream on my fire stick device.  I have done every  troubleshooting technique they told me to do and the problem still exist.  Their expert advice to me was to go out and buy different streams devices which is absolute (Edited per community guidelines).   They need to fix the app update that they screwed up. Yet no one seems to be doing that or addressing the update as the issue.
