gemini air not pairing

my question is not about pairing the remote nor is it about how to program the remote to my soundbar.  my problem is that the bluetooth pairing is not working on my Gemini air.  it does not recognize any of my Bluetooth devices.  note that I have been able to pair my Bluetooth devices with previous Gemini boxes.

Sorry for any confusion. Programming bluetooth devices such as speaker, ear buds, headset is not available on Gemini Air. However, we'll forward this idea to our development team for review. Thanks for your understanding. 💙

You have to go into settings...system..... remotes/devices then there is an "add bluetooth device" section

Gemini will not pair with Bluetooth speakers. Roku devices are much better and the only reason DirecTV came up with Gemini is so they can charge the "advanced receiver fee" for a device that is anything but advanced.  I still like DirecTV better than other streaming options.

Directv didn't come up with a way to charge you a receiver fee b/c that's only with the Directv via Internet plan. If you are on the Directv Stream plan there are no fees for bringing your own device----including Dtv Stream box or Air which you can buy online from 3rd party sellers.
