Gemini Air Remote won't turn my TCL Roku TV ON or Off, have to use the Roku Remote for that operation

I just switched from Satellite Direct TV to Streaming Direct TV utilizing a Gemini Air attachment and remote. Using the Gemini Air remote I am able to control volume and change stations/apps but have to use the Roku Remote to turn the Roku TV ON or OFF. On my  other two TVs (SONY) using Direct TV Streaming,  I am able to turn ON and Off with the Gemini Air Remotes. Is the TCL Roku TV not compatible with the Gemini AIR remote?

Hi there! The TLC Roku device is compatible with Gemini Air device. It can be paired with multiple remotes, however, each Gemini remote can only be paired to one TV at a time. Let's meet in a PM to gather more details and assist you. Erika, DIRECTV Community Specialist

I would welcome your help. I am trying to pair 1 Gemini Air device and Gemini Remote to 1 specific TCL Roku TV. I can get the Gemini Remote to change channels and apps but not turn the TCL TV On or Off. I am available to chat most anytime. Thanks

I am having the exact same issue with my Hisense 43" 43QD65NF and TCL FireTV 75" 75Q691F sets.   Both remotes are brand new within the past two weeks.  Both turn the TVs ON and function just fine but will NOT turn the TVs OFF.  Both turn the DTV box off but not the actual TV.  Remote for 75" was just received this morning and set up this morning to a single tv.  I have to use the original remotes to turn them both off.

Is "power off device" toggled on under settings/remotes/devices area?
