Gemini Air

Just got the Gemini Air on Friday, and had a few questions regarding it.

On my LGC1 television, the device appears to always be using bandwidth, even if I'm watching something on another input. Is there a way to keep the device from streaming when I'm not actually watching it(besides unplugging the power).

Does anyone else using an LGC1 tv have a recommendation for picture settings that will maximize the picture quality on this device?(the Gemini Air)

If there is power to the device, it will always use bandwidth because it is active. You may have an option of your TV to power off the set or ports. Of course, you can always pull the power plug to the device

Hi, @kmvmacdonald. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. The Gemini Air device will continuously use bandwidth when turned on, and during a software update, it may use more bandwidth than normal or less, depending on the update. John, DIRECTV Community Specialist
