HDR setting does not stay on ON
Hi, I have a 4k HDR TV, the DirectTV stream box recognizes my TV as HDR, when I choose to turn this on in the settings, my TV restarts as normal but then I check the setting, it is set back to OFF. Does this mean the setting did not take or just a bug? My display still looks pretty good but I can't totally tell if the HDR setting worked.

Samsung UHD TV MU6500. The box says it supports HDR, just after the restart the setting is back to OFF.

I have a Samsung RU7100 I prefer to have HDR turned off the pic looks better. My Samsung has an "input signal plus" setting that enables HDR I also have turned off. If you like HDR you might see if your HDR is turned on---on your tv. I've read DTV stream boxes keep that setting off if they don't detect and HDR capable tv.
