Home Location Setting - Not Connected.
I have a directv streaming box that has not moved AN INCH from it's current spot in all the time that I have had it (going on 2 years). I have called about this issue several times without resolution. I see comments out here that it might be due to how my internet provider provisions service. I DON"T CARE - IT SHOULD NOT BE MY PROBLEM TO BE THE MIDDLEMAN BETWEEN DIRECTV AND MY INTERNET PROVIDER. IF YOUR BOX CANNOT DEAL WITH HOW INTERNET PROVIDERS WORK, THEN YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE LIMITS ON HOW MANY TIMES THE LOCATION CAN BE RESET. I am paying a lot of money for this service and I have wasted a lot of time and energy because of this issue. Occasionally, one of us will have to give in and watch something on Netflix instead of Directv.
Now that prices are going up will someone from DirecTV please help me fix this problem. I don't like being treated like a criminal when I am not doing anything wrong. This is no way to treat customers.
