How to get direct login to MAX on CH190

If Max is not displayed on channels 190 and 500, please restart your device by pressing and releasing the red button on the side of the device. CH190 displays (Max), but instead of it 'Launching Max' it prompts me to subscribe. All of the others, launch/start the respective services.

Just hit 190 on your remote---MAX app opens and then you do the sign in--it will give you a code---then you can use your computer --go to the MAX website the app screen displays on the tv... and sign in with your provider and it give you a code to sync with your tv app

I have tried that before, selecting CH190, gives me the option to "Subscribe" or "Cancel".

You’ll need to go directly to the MAX up under the Apps section, rather than choosing to do it through CH190 as we try to set it up for the first time. When doing so, follow the steps that Ludwick577 had stated, ensuring to choose the TV provider as either AT&T or DIRECTV STREAM (whichever seems to work for you). Once done, you should be able to enjoy the streaming service. 

Once you set up the app you can manually enter channel 190 or 500 and it will allow you to go into the app.  You can also use the channel up or down to go to either of those channels.      Just don't enter the channel through the guide otherwise it will take you to ordering Max.
