hulu app not working

I'm using the opsry box and for the last week Hulu will open, but not play anything. Tried everything including uninstall/reinstall, shutdown, reboot.

I called HULU Help Center yesterday.  I was on the phone a long time and we ran through everything.  Nothing worked.  He said he "just" (while we were talking) received a memo about the problem.  More people must call to get action.  After everything we tried, nothing worked.

And to Direct TV Stream, since you put it on YOUR box, YOU should be trying to resolve the issue with HULU because it's a problem between them and you.

@Rjliii unfortunately this is DIRECTV COMMUNITY FORUMS, not Hulu. 

Besides, if Hulu opens but doesn’t play anything, this would probably mean a poor WiFi connection or you need to try signing in again. Or perhaps your streaming device might need a software update.

If nothing fixes it, get in touch with Hulu since we can’t do anything about it.

att fiber with excellent wifi everything is updated and since it is a problem between directv streaming device and hulu just thought I might get some help here.

Have you tried to reboot the internet modem? Also, what kind of content are you trying to watch in the Hulu app?

yes I have rebooted the modem, the content I am trying to watch are tv shows on hulu that I have watched this way for 6 months with no problems it just stared about 3 days ago I get a hulu error code P-DEV320 and unique error ID: player-2-99ba0434

Based on the information provided, I was able to find out that in this case the issue must be taken to Hulu Help Center or contact this telephone number: 877-485-8411. Since there is an error code directly from Hulu service.

I have the same issue,

I have Hulu on 2 DirecTV stream boxes and now it won't play anything, it's been working fine up till now, support said to factory reset the Box, install huhu but didn't help, same results.

You can login and navigate, but that's it.

Only thing I haven't done yet is reboot my Frontier router

Technically, the Osprey box comes with Netflix and HBO Max only, not Hulu by default. The experience with my Osprey box and Hulu has been great so far, but I get what you say.

Me too! I Just got off of the phone with Hulu and they told me that the DIRECTV streaming device is no longer a supported device and I will need to use a device such as a Roku or another streaming device to be able to watch Hulu. I am so annoyed 🤬

I have the same problem. Hulu is working through Roku and LGTV app on the same TV so it’s definitely something to do with DirectTV. My problem just started in the past few days.

We are having the same problem.  I tested Hulu in all my other devices and it works except for the DirectTV box.  So stop blaming Hulu without testing and try to find out where the issue is.

Hulu is in the google play store on the Dtv stream box. Works fine for me. I've been using it for 6 months.

That’s so weird because I’ve had it for 6 months too. And I used it. Last week it wouldn’t stream - kept giving me an error that said can’t load this show at this time. After I tried all of the trouble shooting - I called them and that was the answer they gave me. Directtv stream boxes are no longer a supported device.
