I can not get the local channels for my area.
I have DirecTV Stream (previously ATT TV) since May 2021. I live in Biloxi, MS. When I want to watch the local news, I get the local news for Jacksonville, Arkansas. I was told the local channels are based on my billing zip code for the credit card tied to my account. I did have a Arkansas zip code so I changed it to Biloxi. That solution did not work.
I have chatted with tech support, I have had phone calls with tech support, I have posted and looked for solutions in community forums AND NOTHING OR NO ONE IS FIXING MY PROBLEM!!!.
I have uninstalled and installed the app, I have checked the location and IP address location--nothing will fix this 6 month old problem.
It was a bad idea to get rid of UVerse!

Is the CC billing address still associated with the Arkansas address? If so then that is your home location. Change your CC to the new address and update your account.

What device are you using by the way? So your CC info with your bank has the updated address info correct. I would logout of your account and the app, reboot and try again. You might even have to re-install the app.

Same problem here. They actually told me I needed to get a charge card with my winter zipcode! What a joke. Why would my billing address have anything to do with where I am. They said you could change your location up to 4 times a year so I guess I need payment cards from wherever I go.

The Local channel availability is based on your billing ZIP Code and market area.
When traveling we need to make sure to enable location services (Location setting to ON), in order to stream the local channels from your current location.
If the device has the Location Service turned off, only the local channels from the Home Billing ZIP code will be available.

I changed my location in the app. I use a firestick and an app and don’t want a direct streaming box.
