I cannot pair my new soundbar with my direct tv stream genie remote

I just purchased a soundbar on Amazon that sounds great with my TV....I use Direct TV Streaming for my Home and my New Soundbar Brand Name or Model # does NOT show up on the Direct TV Stream SoundBar List....is there an Auto Pairing or Another Method for Pairing with the Direct TV Stream Remote....SoundBars that DO NOT SHOW UP ON THE Soundbar LIST....via an Auto way or Another Way....Please if Anyone can help....I truly Appreciate it.  I hate not being able to Power ON and OFF both my TV and Soundbar and other Features like MUTE or VOLUME UP/DOWN on my Soundbar....Thank you for all your HELP.
